Sick German Mag Says Harry Should Wear Nazi Swastika To Funeral

A sick German satirical magazine has faked a picture showing Prince Harry wearing a Nazi swastika armband to his grandmother’s funeral.

Titanic – a monthly magazine with a circulation of just under 100,000 – slyly captions the image: “The dress question is settled.”

The shocking spoof shows Harry wearing his Blues and Royals Household Cavalry dress uniform but with a photoshopped swastika armband.

Harry has reportedly been negotiating with his family as to whether he would be allowed to wear military uniform at any part of Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.

It was announced today (Sept 16) that he will be allowed to wear military dress while the Queen’s grandchildren stand vigil over her coffin.

Titanic took advantage of the row to remind readers of Prince Harry’s shame when he wore a World War II Afrika Korps uniform to a fancy dress party.

They then added as a sub-deck underneath their artwork saying: “Prince Harry is allowed to wear military uniform at the Queen’s funeral.”

The picture then shows the Prince alongside his wife Megan dressed in black with a Nazi swastika on his right arm.

Some online commentators mocked the prince.

One named as gardi_dortmund wrote: “He already wore that outfit when he was a youngster, it’s great that he is not wasting resources by reusing old clothes and accessories.”

Titanic caused outrage before in 2007 after publishing a series of fake ads for products emblazoned with the image of missing toddler Madeleine McCann.

One of the ads was for a domestic cleaner guaranteed to remove “all traces at home, and against which DNA tests have no chance” while another was for a popular brand of soup called Maggi, renamed after the missing four-year-old. Another promotion is for the Kinder (child) brand of chocolate with the usual face on the packaging replaced with Maddie’s image.

Each product was offered at half price with a pledge announcing that one cent of every sale will be donated to Interpol, the international police cooperation organization.

Maddie’s parents Kate and Gerry McCann said that the spoof was “totally sick, very hurtful and in no way funny.”

Their spokesperson Clarence Mitchell added that “the use of Madeleine’s image in this way is not only extremely distressing for Kate and Gerry but totally disrespectful to Madeleine.”
