This beautiful radio presenter has been killed after being shot in the ear by a gunman outside her home.
Teresa Aracely Alcocer, 37, who worked as a radio presenter under the name of Barbara Greco, was reportedly killed outside her house in the colony El Barreal in the city of Ciudad Juarez located in the north-central Mexican state of Chihuahua.
The motive for the killing is unknown but she presented a number of different shows on the radio station La Poderosa FM.
According to reports, she was getting out of her vehicle when the gunman approached and shot her in the ear.
In her last social media posts, Aracely Alcocer spoke out about the high-profile case of seven-year-old Fatima Cecilia, who was abducted by a woman after school and was later found dead in a wheelie bin after being tortured.
A couple has recently been arrested in connection with the girl’s alleged abduction and death with reports say they knew the parents.
While commenting on the case, Aracely Alcocer said: “Girls and boys are untouchable, they should not be beaten or abused, certainly not killed!”
Friends and relatives of the radio host, who lived with her mother before her death, have called on the Mexican authorities to find and punish those responsible for the alleged murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
